Executive Coordinator

Nearly a decade of experience with international organisations including IOM and GIZ. Holds an MSc in Environmental Studies and an MPA from Ohio University.

Financial Advisor

Accounting professional with six years of experience advancing financial accuracy and accountability across higher education and non-profits. Pursuing a Doctorate in Public Administration.

Finance Officer

Accountant and educator with a BSc in Accountancy from the University of The Gambia and a Higher Teacher Certificate from The Gambia College.

Sulayman Njie, Program Coordinator

Sulayman Njie

Program Coordinator

Holds a Master’s degree in Corporate Communication from Tech University in Spain, a Postgraduate Diploma in Project Management, and an undergraduate studies in International Relations and Politics at Stratford College of Management and later in Leadpreneur Academy in Cotonou - Benin, alongside additional certifications in journalism and risk communication.

Holds a Bsc in Political Science from the University of The Gambia. Coordinated national initiatives such as Clean Earth’s Greening Schools Initiative, ECo-clubs, planting of thousands of trees across schools throughout The Gambia.

Holds a BSc in Political Science from the University of The Gambia and is a civic and an environmental advocate committed to community-driven climate action and sustainability initiatives in The Gambia.

Volunteer Coordinator

RN-BSN nurse at Innovarx Global Health and the Ministry of Health, The Gambia in addition to her role as Volunteer Coordinator at Clean Earth Gambia, where she has contributed to health screenings for over 1,000 patients.

Isatou Jaiteh, Communications Advisor

Communications Advisor

Communications Specialist and passionate Climate Advocate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism from The University of The Gambia. As winner of Face of Beauty Gambia 2020, her core mission is to raise awareness about climate change and promote sustainable practices through compelling storytelling, media engagement and advocacy.

Communications Advisor

Has close to a decade experience in the sector. He currently serves as the Communication and Knowledge Management Specialist at the National Research and Innovation Fund, holds a Master’s degree in International Communication from the Communication University of China and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of The Gambia.

Rohey has previously served as a Communications Intern at the National Youth Parliament. She has a degree in Journalism at the University of The Gambia.

Matty Bah, Climate & Health Officer, PSEAH Focal Point

Matty Bah

Climate & Health Officer, PSEAH Focal Point

Registered Nurse (RN~BSN) and Physical, Sexual Exploitation, Abuse, and Harassment (SEAH) Focal Person at Clean Earth Gambia. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of The Gambia and brings experience from both clinical and community health settings, including academic research on Maternal and Child Health.

Fatou holds a degree in Environmental Science from the University of The Gambia and is an alumna of the She-Climate Fellowship 2022 and the Millennium Fellowship 2022. She works in Programs at the National Disaster Management Agency.

Gender Advisor

Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from the University of The Gambia and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Entrepreneurship, Innovation, and Leadership at University of Maryland Baltimore County. She coordinated the pioneering cohort of the She-Climate Fellowship Program.

Board Member

Director of Climate Finance at the Ministry of Finance and Economic Affairs of The Gambia. Lead climate finance coordinator for the LDCs under UNFCCC and Board Member of the Green Climate Fund.

Baboucarr Zaidi Jallow, Board Member

Baboucarr Zaidi Jallow

Board Member

Over 15 years in The Gambia's environment and climate sector, formerly Deputy Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Environment. Currently Programme Officer at the ECOWAS Regional Agency for Food and Agriculture.

Kawsu Barrow, Board Member

Kawsu Barrow

Board Member

Over a decade of experience in M&E, Disaster Risk Reduction, and Climate Change Adaptation. The Gambia's Climate Change Negotiator on Loss and Damage at COP26 and COP27.
